Portfolio: Renz Residence

The Renz family was growing in numbers and they wanted to create a usable outdoor space for the kids and their little friends.

The Renz family was growing in numbers and they wanted to create a usable outdoor space for the kids and their little friends. The original yard was a bare and exposed soil situation. There were numerous drainage issues with the gutter outlets that needed to be diverted elsewhere.

They wanted a combination of soft mulch for the playground area, a good amount of shade tolerant lawn and a rocky area for the challenging drainage situations.

Plants that were used in this design install:

American Beautyberry (3 Gallons)
Inland Sea Oats
Variegated Ginger (3 Gallons)
Dwarf Yaupon Holly (3 Gallons)
Standard Yaupon Holly (5 Gallons)
Turks Cap
