They wanted a stark white limestone, a dramatic custom welded metal planter to distinguish them from their neighbors who share the same address, and some work in the backyard to make the space more enjoyable and usable. Due to the amount of shade in the back we used St Augustine, the only sod in Central Texas that will take substantial amounts of shade.

In the front we used a clean Tejas Black Gravel pathway with dramatic large 2’ by 4’ slabs that contrast beautifully. For some privacy near their front door we used a non invasive clumping bamboo for fast growing evergreen privacy.
