We are starting to create individual Texas native plants profiles and today we will put the spotlight on Bamboo Muhly (Muhlenbergia dumosa) .
From the entry:
“Bambo Muhly is a magnificent choice for many locations. The plant’s gentle foliage will grace any larger pots. It is an excellent plant to use as a mid-back layer in drought tolerant flowerbeds. Bamboo muhly is both part shade tolerant and deer resistant plant which is an uncommon combination. We love to use generous amounts of the plant in watereise deer pressured Austin landscapes. You’ll be delighted to watch it dance slowly in the breeze.”
